DURING THE HOLIDAYS

➢ Get up early and do yoga to boost your immunity


➢ Hang your bird feeder to feed water and food to birds
➢ Take care of your house plants and help in keeping the
environment green
➢ Help your grandparents and parents; spend time with
them
➢ Read a storybook everyday
➢ Revise tables everyday and play dodging with your family
members. Use a timer to make it interesting!
➢ Limit screen time- TV, computer and video game to the
least. Comply strictly to the time limit of 1 hour or less
per day.
➢ Hone and explore the hidden talents in you like cooking,
painting, dancing, singing and a lot more.
➢ Click pictures/make videos of you doing these activities
and share it with us!
Dear students, keep these points in mind!

❖ The English, Hindi, EVS and Math sheets attached


should be handwritten and should be done in a neat
handwriting.

❖ Practice handwriting in Cursive Strokes. Make sure


to use a sharpened pencil, write the date and do the
work neatly.

(1) Now in the sample of the Venn Diagram below, write about any two characters
you have read in one of the story books and their traits. Don’t forget to put in a
few common factors in the middle!

(2) For the second Venn Diagram find out information about the authors of both
your books (make sure you read two books written by different authors) and write
about their unique and common features.

JOURNALIST
• Students to interview each and every member of their family and present their
findings in their readathon notebooks.
• Make a questionnaire of at least 6-8 questions. Each member to be asked
different questions e.g. You can ask your mother –What don’t you enjoy cooking
or How do you like to relax? To your dad –What do you like to watch on TV or
What is your favourite dinner menu?
• Remember you are an investigator, so every time you ask questions you must jot
them down on a sheet of paper and record it as well.
• After you are finished, compile all the question and answers and send your audio
or video recording to your teacher.

•EACH MEMBER TO BE ASKED 4-5 QUESTIONS
