    July 3rd, 2020 Discussion Meeting Speaker Script

    Payal - We, Payal and Megha warmly welcome you all dear members to our July 3 rd Discussion Meeting
    to commemorate the Day of Mentor and Disciple. To celebrate the united spirit of mentor and disciple
    to fight undaunted against those forces that aim to destroy what is true and just. 

     Payal - (Introduction): We would like to start by a round of introduction, so request each one of
    us to one by one unmute ourselves to call out your name. And anyone of you attending the
    meeting for the first time please mention so along with your name and the name of the member
    whose guest you are.

    Hi I’m Payal. Hi I’m Megha.

    Thank you and a very warm welcome to our guests.

     Megha (introduce Significance of the month): At Soka Gakkai, every month we learn about
    and commemorate Significant events in the timeline of Nichiren Buddhism Practice. We would
    now like to invite Gaori to share the Significance of the month. Gaori requesting you to please
    unmute yourself now... Thanks Gaori for sharing the significance
     Payal - (Song): At Gakkai, Songs give expression to our vow to widely spread the ideals of
    Nichiren Buddhism bringing forth the hope and joy that reside in their hearts. Let us all now
    joyfully listen to the Song Let’s Win selected by Siddhi and Neeti. Please continue to be on mute
    while the song plays. After the song--------Thank you Siddhi and Neeti for such an uplifting happy
    song.
     Megha – (Intro to Experiences) Experiences are absolute truth which further strengthens our
    belief in our practice. Experience bring out the process of human revolution that we undergo
    when we challenge our obstacles based on faith, practice and study and is an actual proof of the
    greatness of Nichiren Buddhism. We would now like to invite Anushree and Ankit to share their
    experience with us. Anushree, Ankit many congratulations on your victory. Thank you for
    inspiring us to breakthrough our own challenges.
     Payal - (Study): The purpose of our study is to ground ourselves thoroughly in the principles of
    Nichiren Buddhism. Study helps us to deepen our practice as well as strengthen our connection
    with our Mentors. Over to study team now led by Amit. After the study…..Thank you study
    team, the power of collectively studying is immense and very strong..
     Payal - Now, we open the floor for Q&A… please feel free to ask, share….. Namrata, would you
    like to share any guidance.
     Megha: Thank you all so much for attending the meeting and making it so joyful, so full of
    seeking spirit. This gathering and coming together for meetings is like reaffirming our mission as
    Bodhisattvas of the Earth, and then returning back to our respective lives to demonstrate the
    principles of Soka humanism—each one of us serving as the dynamic engine advancing the
    Kosen-Rufu movement forward. May we all win each day every day striving with our mentor in
    our hearts…
