The Cleaning Lady

If you’re new to the hit crime drama, here’s a run-down of the main players in The Cleaning Lady.

Thony De La Rosa played by Élodie Yung

Cambodian doctor Thony was a surgeon in one of Manila’s finest hospitals. After travelling to the United States to seek medical treatment for her son, she finds herself trapped in Las Vegas as an undocumented immigrant once her visa expires. Picking up a cleaning job to make ends meet, she witnesses a murder and falls into a world of organised crime – acting as both a cleaner and doctor for a crime syndicate in exchange for help with her son.

Arman Morales played by Adan Canto

Arman is a gangster who brings Thony into his organisation when she accidentally witnesses a gangland execution. He offers her protection and to help her ailing son in exchange for her services.

Garrett Miller played by Oliver Hudson

Agent Miller is a dogged FBI agent set on taking Arman’s organisation down, and targets Thony when he links the crime scenes to the chemicals she uses to clean.

Fiona De La Rosa played by Martha Millan

Thony’s sister-in-law and a fellow cleaner, Fiona is also Thony’s closest friend and has opened her home to her and Luca.

Luca De La Rosa played by Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle

Luca suffers from a rare autoimmune illness that forced his mother Thony to leave her home on Manila and travel to the United States. As the American health system fails her, both she and Luca must keep a low profile to avoid detection from immigration services, whilst also keeping Luca quarantined to prevent any outside contagion.

Season one of The Cleaning Lady premiered on Sky Witness on 11 March 2024, with new episodes being released weekly. It is not available on Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime.

The first season of The Cleaning Lady consists of ten hour-long episodes.

There have been three series of The Cleaning Lady in the US so far - the first two air exclusively on Sky in the UK. A third series will also come to Sky Witness later this year.
