Coming up on Sky

With summer coming to an end we don’t blame you for wanting to spend all your time outside sunshine but just know that you’ll be missing out on some brilliant telly. For those of you looking for your next TV watch, Sky & NOW have got you covered with a bunch of brand-new TV shows and movies to keep you busy all month long.

But it’s not just Sky & NOW that are bringing you new TV this August! Over on Netflix Love is Blind UK officially launches, with Matt and Emma Willis hosting the social experiment that sees single Brits look for love. On Disney+, Only Murders in the Building returns for S4 with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez reprising their roles.

And on Sky? This month sees the return of BAFTA-winning duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan as they take on a new world of challenges in Rob & Romesh Vs S7. Also coming this month is a whole heap of new documentaries including The Body Next Door, which delves deep into a gripping murder mystery from 2015, and Klitschko: More than a Fight, the feature-length documentary following Vitali Klitschko’s journey from boxing ring to political office.

Rob & Romesh Vs S7

Rob and Rom are back – with a BAFTA award in hand – ready to take on three new epic challenges. This series sees the duo head to Vegas to explore the world of UFC, tackle Heavy Metal at its UK heartland, Download Festival, and dive into Hollywood to see how they fare as Hollywood stuntmen. If you’re looking for some easy-watching and light relief, this is the series for you!

Klitschko: More than a Fight

With unprecedented access to the former heavyweight boxing world champion along with his brother Wladimir, this feature-length documentary follows Vitali Klitschko’s journey from the boxing ring to political office – ultimately leading the defence of the capital when it was attacked by Russian forces in February 2022. The film explores the story of the brothers’ Soviet childhood and their sporting career with present-day footage capturing what it takes to hold the city and country together during wartime.

The Cleaning Lady S3

Everyone’s favourite cleaner-turned-crime scene eraser is back, as this hit US crime drama returns for it’s third season this August. Picking up where the previous season left off, Thony and Nadia begrudgingly team up to look for Arman after he mysteriously disappears whilst Fiona tries to manage the aftermath of her deportation to the Philippines. With new episodes dropping weekly, this will keep you busy well into Autumn!

Calling all Walking Dead fans! This month sees the arrival of the third spin-off series of the iconic apocalyptic survival series The Walking Dead, in which Daryl Dixon – played by Norman Reedus – washes ashore in France, struggling to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows his journey as he tries to find a way back home.

The Body Next Door

This grisly new three-part documentary series delves into one of the most shocking true crime stories of the past decade. In November 2015, an unbelievable discovery shocked the quiet former mining village of Beddau in Wales. A human corpse was discovered with the identity remaining a mystery due to no matching DNA, fingerprints or dental records being found. The Body Next Door follows the police investigation that took place and the revelations that are uncovered throughout the process.

Adam Hills: Foot Fault

Comedian Adam Hills takes viewers behind the scenes of a global campaign around Para-Standing Tennis, exploring its potential as a future Grand Slam and Paralympic event.
