The A's strike out at the second-highest rate but against lefties they've been stingier lately. Ranger Suarez has failed to clear this number in three of his last four starts, and his whiff rate has fallen to the 29th percentile. Oakland ranks 12th in OPS versus left-handed pitching (.729).

We back Ranger Suarez big at home, especially, but you can't go wrong no matter where the game is played. PHI is 14-4 when he starts and 8-1 at home, with 6 of those wins by 2+ runs. He has a 2.49 ERA at home and PHI is 12-8 ATS in Interleague. A's are falling, bullpen no longer a strength (23rd in pen SLG allowed since 6/1). PHI 22-15 vs LHP and 6th in MLB in OPS vs LHP at home, 2nd in hard hit rate at home vs LHP. Wake up call coming for Hogan Harris I believe. This ballpark ain't Oakland.
