Car Giveaway Information
ELIGIBILITY
- This contest will solely be based on student attendance in all periods.
- Seniors ONLY
- Two winners (SW High School and SW Legacy)
- CAST STEM students will be included with Southwest High School for the 2024-2025 school year and alternating high schools thereafter.
- The opportunity will extend to homebound, SW Academy, and OFSDP students.

Ways to Earn Digital Tickets
District Attendance Session
The most digital tickets that can be earned for district information attendance sessions is one (1) for the school year.
The district will host 3 attendance information sessions throughout the year at a district sight to coincide with specific district events (such as Parent Symposium). Parent and student must attend in order for student to receive a digital ticket.
Attendance Percentages
The metrics for attendance percentages are outlined below to earn digital tickets for entry into the drawing for the car, in addition to other prizes:
- A student that meets 93% attendance for the 6-week period will earn one ticket
- A student that meets 95% attendance for the 6-week period will earn one ticket (in addition to the ticket for 93%)
- A student that meets 97% attendance for the 6-week period will earn one ticket (in addition to the tickets for 93% and 95%)
The most digital tickets that can be earned for attendance percentages are 15 for the school year.
Low Attendance Days
Students will have an opportunity to earn one (1) digital ticket for attendance on low attendance days. Students must be in attendance all nine (9) designated days to earn this one (1) ticket. We will also have the day before and after the following holidays as an opportunity for students to earn an extra digital ticket for attendance.
