Unwind and Connect – Experience Tampa's Social Oasis with Kava Culture.

In this introductory course, students will learn the fundamentals to create ceramic artwork. Use clay to build, mold and sculpt three-dimensional works using coil building, slab building, and other hand-building techniques. All experience levels welcome; beginners and up. Adults 18+ Firing costs, essential tools, and glazes included. Clay is available for purchase separately in the studio. *Some classes may require additional materials. If applicable a supply list or kit available for purchase will be provided first day of class Fall A | September 12-October 24 (7 classes) Fall B | October 31-December 19 (7 classes, no class 11/28)

Work with clay on the potters wheel. Beginners start with a hand-building project to get acquainted with the clay and then jump into learning how to throw their next ceramic adventure. Intermediate students can dive right into getting dirty and take inspiration from instructor led projects. All experience levels welcome!

The student will embark on an artistic journey, through the phases of thoughtful creation involving single and multifigure compositions. Note the criteria that paintings must be universally acknowledged as a masterpiece and use those elements to bring forth your masterpiece. Adults 18+ Beginner/Intermediate Drawing supplies and draft paper included. *Some classes may require additional materials and/or model fee.
