The High Holy Days are a few weeks away, and our clergy, lay leaders, and professional team are deep in the planning process to ensure our congregation and the Isidore C. & Penny W. Myers campus come together safely as we welcome in the sweetness of 5785.

We look forward to seeing you all in person in the Sonenshine Family Sanctuary. If you are unable to attend we will be live streaming services on our website www.tby.org/live-stream. If you're unable to be in crowded environments, we will also be live streaming outside of the Morgan Chapel.

We kindly request that you refrain from attending in-person High Holy Day services if you are feeling unwell. We thank you for your adherence as we strive to provide the safest environment possible for our members and staff.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Temple Bat Yahm. To ensure timely receipt of your High Holy Day tickets, please confirm that your initial financial commitment for the 2024-25 membership year has been made. Should you have any questions or concerns, our office can be reached at (949) 644-1999. We look forward to welcoming the new year together with you and your family.

All High Holy Day service tickets will be distributed digitally to your email via SimpleTix. Tickets will not be mailed.

Every attendee must have a separate ticket for each service. To expedite entry, please have your unique service-specific digital QR Code or self-printed PDF ticket available to scan upon entry. If you have trouble accessing the QR code at the time of entry, you may present your Photo ID to be looked up in the ticketing database.

Every member family in good financial standing will receive the number of tickets for which they are eligible.

Students age 18-26 can request a complementary student ticket from Matthew Ross – mross@tby.org. Children under 18 must accompany parent/guardian at all times.

Temple Bat Yahm participates with other synagogues throughout North America in a reciprocity program. TBY Members may attend services at another synagogue if they request reciprocity through Lesa Hodgkins – lhodgkins@tby.org. The TBY office will reach out on members' behalf to request reciprocity. Out-of-town guests are welcome to attend our services provided they have purchased Non-Member tickets.

Click the above banner to purchase additional tickets for immediate family members. You must be logged into your TBY Member Portal.

It is our 'strength of tradition and warmth of community' that enables us to ensure every member feels connected and supported.

Each year, we invite you to contribute to the High Holy Day Appeal, regardless of the amount, to support our Membership Community Fund. This fund helps provide Temple membership to those in need of financial assistance.

For congregants donating to Temple Bat Yahm for the first time, your gift will be matched by a generous donor, doubling the value of your philanthropy.

With Yom Kippur quickly approaching, we hope to reach our goal before the holiday arrives. Please consider making your High Holy Day Appeal donation now by clicking the banner above.

Food insecurity affects residents of all ages in Orange County. Almost 30% of our senior population is food insecure, one in eight children is at risk of hunger, and our low-income families are often one paycheck away from going hungry. [2nd Harvest Food Bank]

Non-perishable food needs: peanut butter, canned meats and fish, beans, pasta and pasta sauce, rice, cereal, lunch bag items, etc. No expired foods or open containers please – if you won’t eat it, no one should!

We can help so many with just a little effort. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
