Grab your nuggets because things just got a whole lot saucier at McDonald’s.

Starting July 9, the chain will be offering its newest collaboration item, and this time it’s a sauce with East Asian origins. The Special Grade Garlic Sauce is inspired by McDonald’s Japan’s Black Garlic Sauce. It features garlic and soy sauce flavors that create a tangy sweetness, according to the chain, and is the “first EVER garlic sauce to hit the menus at McDonald’s USA.”

This new dip was created in collaboration with anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” (aka “JJK”) and features eight unique lid designs, each highlighting a different character from the show: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, Suguru Geto, Mahito and Sukuna.

Customers who purchase the sauce will receive a free 30-day trial of anime and manga website Crunchyroll, where they can watch full episodes of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and more shows shortly after they air in Japan.

The new sauce available as a limited-time offer exclusively through the restaurant’s app. It can be added to any order of Chicken McNuggets for free, or ordered as a side with any other item.

This is not the first time in recent memory that McDonald’s has crossed over into the entertainment realm. In August, the chain released a special sweet and sour sauce to go along with its appearance in “Loki.” In February, the chain flipped its “M” upside down in a nod to the chain’s anime alter ego, “WcDonald’s,” also dropping a savory chili sauce.

And as far as sauces go, the home of the McNugget is constantly releasing — and re-releasing — dunking options. In October, it was Sweet and Spicy Jam and a Mambo sauce that made headlines as sticky, limited-time offerings.
