- I don't understand what's your question or problem, but the Dutch 'bezem' is a 'broom' and the Dutch 'takkenbezem' is a broom, made of twigs, like witches use to use in fairytales. So a 'takkenbezem' is always a 'bezem', but not every 'bezem' is a 'takkenbezem'. Like every dog is an animal, but not every animal is a dog. I hope this answer helps you.
