What about Soviet period? I strongly believe that the city had flag, coat of arms, head and twin cities at that time. --Infovarius (talk) 14:26, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
- That'd be the administrative entity (this here being the settlement), which is either Tartu City (Q42307965) or a another (currently non-existent) item. 2001:7D0:81F7:B580:3849:1F84:7835:7DF4 17:30, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
"Named after: Tharapita" is very, very doubtful at best. No wonder there's no reliable reference for it. --Ehitaja (talk) 23:12, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
It's unclear why recent reversion was made. Unlike the reversion, preceding changes have been explained in edit summaries. This item currently indicates that the settlement of Tartu has coat of arms and head of government, which it actually doesn't, these are attributes of the municipality of Tartu (Q42307965). Under country history this item currently indicates that during interwar period Tartu was in different country than now which is in contradiction with widely accepted concept of the state continuity of the Baltic states. To avoid misleading, previously statement is subject of (P805) qualifiers were used to clarify this situation. 2001:7D0:81F7:B580:E4B8:E31C:5BD2:327B 13:14, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
