At least three Grad MLRS (multiple-launch rocket system) rockets were fired at a medical facility in the city by Russian troops positioned on the left bank of the Dnipro River, part of the Kherson region occupied by Russia, according to the Kherson military administration.
Russian troops withdrew from the western bank of the Dnipro River in fall 2023 and took up positions on the eastern side, from which they have been regularly shelling towns and villages opposite.
