Brewhaus

My favorite bar in the patch! My boyfriend and I met here, through a friend-not just a bar hook up. We spent many wonderful nights here as well. The have a great beer list, definitely the best in town. The atmosphere is very eclectic, laid back and wonderful. This is the bar to go to for a casual night in Springfield. And they have the best worn in booths ever! I miss this place.

Finally! I finally visited this place. I went there with the girls on a wed. We sat for a long time in some waaay lived in booths. We did end up unscrewing the overhead light bulb because when you are drinking you don't want to feel like you are in an interrogation. Its a good atmosphere for visiting otherwise. The music is just low enough to talk. There is a good buzz among the other patrons. Its a bit of a dive but in all honesty thats my kind of bar. We had great service. Our waitress was a sweetheart and gave us plenty of popcorn. I hope to go back soon.

Love finding a bar in Springfield that has a huge selection of beers, even ones from small breweries. Staff was very friendly and the live music was simply unbeatable. Cant wait to go back!

Can't improve on Jennifer C's review, but I'll buttress it anyway. Great beer selection at, as she says, ridiculously low prices. Dark and inviting. Multiple bartenders there are highly competent and would shame the majority up here.

If you're allergic to hipsters, this is probably not the place for you. Interesting old building smelled like an old building - the unique combination of cat pee and mildew. The only break from this smell was the creepy, barely locking bathroom that obnoxiously smelled of chlorine. They have a unique beer selection, but are out of almost everything it seemed like. ("We need to update our menu. We don't have ____ anymore") I don't know if it's "cool" or "ironic", but every glass lampshade in the place had at least one broken panel. Once you got past all this, it wasn't too bad. Beers a little on the pricey side for what I'd expect from Springfield, but they had skiball! In a bar! 50 cents a game! Can go up to a 4 player game! Made my night.

Just had lunch here and the fish sandwich was over cooked. Also you better take cash because if your bill is under $10 they won't accept a card for payment and they could not tell me that the policy was posted anywhere. Sorry to the waitress because I did not have enough cash to leave her a tip. Since I only work a block away and I tend to work late nights a lot I was hoping this would be a new option to grab dinner but with the $10 min policy I won't be able to do that. They just lost a lot of business from my office.

Great atmosphere. Great, knowledgeable bartenders. Great selection of beers. No food, but they offer local delivery options. Great music from the bartender's ipod.

Nate and Kate are the TEAM! Either one will take care of you, tell you the local history, set you up for the best drinks the Brewhaus has available, and entertain! They know the perfect beverage selection, and they also know the area perfectly. The Brewhaus may have a lot of the typical beers, but also enough to keep us beer snobs happy too. Wish they so served food, but you can't have everything.

Best and coolest bar in Springfield in my opinion. Mostly locals and few college kids or meatheads. Very chill place with a great selection of beers on tap. The bartenders are all pretty inventive with mixed drinks so ask them to make you one of their specialties and you'll always be pleasantly surprised. I also love that they play whole albums instead of a jukebox. Also take advantage of the free popcorn.

It's a real good feeling in here, and not just from the booze! Good place for friends and conversation.
