Gallardos Mexican Restaurant

Great food, great service with outdoor seating! It helped that my friend spoke Spanish what made it easier to order. The only drawback was it was cash only! but they had an ATM machine. It was hard to find parking, But the food was the best that's why I gave it five stars!

There taco salad de carne asada is amazing and huge. Full of flavor and for a really affordable price. My friend loved her tacos and they were also huge.

The location was great and the customer service was good. I would gladly come back next time I'm in the area.

The absolute bomber quesabirria tacos. Just skip everything else and get those with a side of consome. My new favorite spot in the Mission. I'm sure everything else is good too, but I'll never know as I'm always getting those tacos of my dreams.

They tend to pick and choose who to serve first . We were a party of 3 ordered 3 things mainly scrambled eggs with chorizo simple meals and for the kiddos fried plantains . First they took forever to bring us our chips and salsa while ,two more larger parties arrived after us and both parties got their chips , salsa and food before us .

The service was good Maria was attentive. It was my mothers bday and the food was so good I ate posole.We also ordered sopes burgers (kids of course) and enchilada best Part was inexpensive. Going back on the weekend to get birria. Only reason they don't get the last star is because it's cash only and there isn't a sign to show that at entrance. It was a hassle even though they have ATM.

Just stopped by Gallardos which is a longtime SF favorite for their homey ambience, hearty Mexican food, and heartfelt hospitality. Juan, the owner, goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome, and the extensive menu of tasty delights results in surefire happiness for everyone. Among my favorites: chilequiles, chili relleno, enchiladas, taquitos, tostadas, and their classic sopas yum yum.

They now have a large parklet for outdoor dining, on top of the usual sidewalk tables. Brunch can be tough on the weekends - expect lines, esp post church on Sundays.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I was actually looking at reviews for another Mexican restaurant in which one had mentioned "after eating at Gallardos" and went on to say they were great so we gave it a try and we were not disappointed. We also know a family who eats here and they all love it. Definitely will be back

You might be thinking :what?this is so small how could the food be any good " well,you would be wrong!this place is amazingly delicious,small but delicious. The staff are very very very nice and helpful.i recommend it if you have children,I went there sense I was 6 months old! The owner is very very good with children and is so so so so nice ,
