Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

Great happy hour menu, delicious food, and Bartender Dana was great! I'll definitely be back.

Everything was phenomenal! Our server took the time to walk us through the menu and explain the history of the restaurant and its locations.

We ordered a crab bisque and a small whale with a stone crab. The crab bisque was perfect for 40° weather and the whale had everything we wanted. The king crab and shrimp in the whale were outstanding. The lobster and classic were good, but we'd get the shrimp, king crab, and stone crab the next time. Personally, we liked the stone crab better than king crab, but it's a flavor preference.

For entree, we got the sole and a petit filet with green beans and the lyonaisse potatoes. Everything was delicious!

Food was awesome. Filet, shrimp cocktail, salad & key lime pie all spot on! Server was great, attentive. Sat in bar area high top.

Enjoyed the selection of the 3 course lunch specials. Good value. The food was excellent - crab cake was all crab - no fillers. The ahi tuna was very fresh and flavorful served as ordered - just kissed by the grill. The fresh green beans had wonderful seasonings and were not oily or overcooked.
The attentive service was exceptional without being annoying. Delightful waiter.
The atmosphere - lighting, cloth tablecloths and napkins and cleanliness helped make this an exceptional dining experience without being pretentious. I would definitely eat here again and I recommend it highly.

Has a great time at Joe's celebrating my son's 17th birthday. The overall experience was good. The service was fairly prompt and the food was really good. A little disappointed there was no birthday pizazz , but minor in the grand scheme of things.

Step back into an old world steakhouse. Old world attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. Something that we miss a lot in today's world. We came with friends (they have been here many years ago) and sat done for a multi-course lunch on our whirlwind visit to Chicago.

We started with a large Whale, consisting of a whole lobster, king crab legs, stone crab claws, huge shrimp cocktails and clams. Very large portion of fresh seafood served with cocktail sauce and drawn butter.

Then we had an order of large Stone Crab claws. Five large claws served with butter and lemon wedges. Very meaty tasty claws.

Bone in Rib-eye steak cooked to medium rear perfection. Crunchy charred exterior with a perfect juicy buttery soft interior. This was one of the best steak I've had in a while.

Can't go wrong at Joe's!

The food was outstanding. Worth every single penny spent. Our service was phenomenal. Jennifer explained everything to us in detail and was helpful on portion sizes and beyond friendly. The other service team members were also outstanding. All making jokes and speaking to us with each encounter.
Two huge standouts for us, the crab cake is an absolute must as well as the Boston cream pie. I cannot compliment everything enough. Such a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. So many things we wish we could have tried.

Started with a Caesar salad that was good enough. I could have used more salt but that's me and we split it so I could have just gotten a portion without enough dressing for my preference.
We had stone crab that we didn't love but that's a personal preference thing, first time trying it and just not our style. Lots of meat though and a fun experience for sure. The mustard sauce was really good.
The crab cake was amazing. I could have eaten the whole thing myself and everyone else agreed. Would come back for that alone.
Mashed potatoes were so so good, the topping really made them for me. We also got mushrooms and those were great as well.
Branzino was phenomenal, my mother ate every single bite and she never finishes her entree.
Salmon was wonderful, my daughter loved the crust on it.
The standard ribeye was amazing. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. No complaints at all.
Boston cream pie was outstanding. Just get it.
The raspberry gelato was very good as well and plenty to share.

It was fairly loud inside but not overwhelming. I was surprised at the casual attire worn by some patrons so if you're concerned about being dressed well enough then you're already a step ahead of some.

Great food and service. Some of the best seafood I have had! Awesome all the way around. You will need reservations or sit in the bar area. Was not disappointed at all! Will come back again! Jeff at the bar gave us excellent service!

Great cocktails. Highly recommend the beef tenderloin sandwich. Our waiter was fantastic.

Our experience at Joe's was spectacular. Every moment was made special for my family and I thanks to the the manager Paul and our waiter Jie Z. Paul gave us the most wonderful welcome and continued to check in on us throughout our visit. Paul is so kind and fun!

We loved learning the history of the restaurant from Jie. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. We appreciated his kind guidance through the menu and honestly loved EVERYTHING we ordered, savoring every bite. It was all divine!
Please make sure to order the dessert. The Havana Dream Pie is heavenly.
