Pure Moving Company

I have had 3 successful moves with Pure Movers already and would surely recommend them anytime for any move. This moving company is price adequate, affable and expert. And for those who don't like to call to companies and would rather have a chat over the email these movers can definitely accommodate that perfectly. They will give you a time estimate and will send all necessary insurances on time if your building management requires that.

My first two moves were for my family out of a huge 2 bedroom apartment and these movers were very swift during the entire process. Thus the third time I called Pure Movers once again to now move my studio apartment locally in San Francisco. As I expected, everything went very smooth once again: the movers arrived promptly on time, were friendly and easy to communicate yet not overly talkative, got to work right away. They always bring their hand trucks to load up a stack of boxes at once where I would carry just one, and the stairs for these movers is not a problem at all.

My friend was impressed with their level of attention to protect our furniture and place it in the desired location. The movers let me direct them of where exactly I wanted my couch, tables and bookshelves placed down to the inch. Some of my items were cheap and wobbly Ikea furniture yet the movers still wrapped everything in plastic and blankets carefully. As usual for Pure movers, not a single piece was scratched or damaged, and I felt that they were worth every penny that was spent.

Hopefully I will not be moving anytime soon. It really takes a toll on my creative process. But if the move is approaching, I know which movers to email and book.

I highly recommend Pure Moving Company. This was 5+ star experience. Znehya, Max and Rai were awesome. Their moving skills and experience were abundantly evident as they carefully blanketed, wrapped, protected the corners, lifted and moved my entire household of mid-century modern furniture ...treating each piece of furniture as if it was their own.

In the office, Thomas, Nick and and Alexander were excellent as they responded to my e-mailed questions quickly and professionally leading up to the big day. My move was from a 2-bedroom, 2 bath, 4th floor apartment (1,200 SqFt) in downtown Oakland to a storage unit in Walnut Creek. It was seamless. Nothing broken, harmed or even scratched.

The freight elevator was broken at my apartment complex. Not one word of complaint from any of them. They used the residential elevator to get to street level, dodged the bicycle lane, and then had to weave their dolly between the protective permanent cement pylons in front of my apartment entrance ...to get my furniture into their truck.

A shout out to Znehya as the lead mover. I told him I had many more boxes I needed to put inside the storage unit after they left. Like a jigsaw puzzle, the strategy Znehya directed was to stack furniture to the greatest extent possible that would still keep each piece of furniture sturdy and safe. This strategy allowed me to

I already had a long (and high) row of boxes lining an entire wall of this 10X15 unit. Znehya asked if I wanted them to build a walk-way (an isle) allowing me access to these boxes. Yes, I did.

Znehya asked me smart questions every step of the way.

All three movers were professional, respectful, experienced and highly skilled.

The team showed up on team and treated our things with care the entire move. They were very professional, wrapped our things in plastic and blankets, and even helped box some of our leftover things.

I hate moving, but Pure Moving Company made it much less stressful.

I called to get a quote, and Nick provided excellent service over the phone. He explained everything, including the double drive time, and set me up with an appointment for 5 days later. I loved how there was no deposit, so it made me feel better about having movers scheduled while I shopped around. But after calling a couple more places, I felt confident in going with Pure.

I emailed a couple questions, and not only did Tad respond quickly, Tad also called me to answer.

I received a text the day before my move to confirm.

On moving day, they called to let me know they'd be arriving in 20 min. They did arrive in the window of my appointment with a huge truck. After showing Zhenya and Vlad the work cut out for them and signing the contract, they got to work. And boy were they fast!

They brought in the wardrobe boxes so I could hang my clothes (I didn't touch the hanging clothes because I knew the wardrobe boxes were going to come). And they totally maximized the boxes by putting other stuff at the bottom.

All my furniture was wrapped up. And I mean everything was wrapped and protected. Really appreciated the time they took to protect everything.

They also did a great job of disassembling everything I couldn't do. They worked quickly and checked in with me often.

Parking enforcement came by, and they were quick to let me know so I could talk to parking about the huge truck if needed. Luckily, it was not a problem, but I appreciated their vigilance and preventing a parking ticket that I would be responsible for paying.

After a check that everything was packed up, we were off!

Upon arriving at my new place, they expertly parked and quickly unloaded. They put everything where I wanted it, and even took time to let me put hardwood floor protectors on the furniture.

When it was all done, they lined up all the wardrobe boxes to let me check to make sure everything was taken out, and we took a look inside the truck.

Total time charged was 6 hours (including the double drive time), and it was absolutely worth it. Zhenya and Vlad were wonderful, and I would love to work with them again (although I hope to not move again in the near future).

I need movers last minute and they were available next day. The move was super fast, super easy and my team was extremely nice!

Pure Moving Company is great! They're fairly priced and they delivered exceptional service from start to finish.

They arrived on time to my apartment ready to start. They assessed items that needed to be packed/moved and got to work. These guys were about business! They worked from 9:30-ish to 5:30 with NO BREAK. I expected them to take a lunch but they didn't. And they worked non-stop. That was very impressive. Once at the house they moved everything where we directed and unwrapped/packed all the items, and removed all of the cardboard/plastic wrapping afterwards which was fantastic.

There was one hiccup. Prior to the move, we notified customer service that we needed a treadmill and elliptical machine moved but the movers refused to take them because they said they were not qualified to disassemble and reassemble electric workout machines. We understood their reasoning but wished we had known this in advance so that we could have disassembled the equipment prior to the move. If you plan to have these folks move your exercise equipment please disassemble it before they arrive.

Other than this issue the moving experience was great. Their customer service team is also exceptional. They reached out to me the day after the move to check on things and were willing to make things right if there were any issues.

It has been 8 years since my last move so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called a lot of movers but it was Pure Moving Company who I felt was the most transparent as far as charges and was the most responsive.

Daniel and crew showed up during the time stated and all my moving stress was eased right away. They did a walk thru and Daniel was very communicative during the process. We were still packing (this was the day after Christmas) and they worked around us.

The crew was efficient, quick and I was impressed with the speed they moved the boxes. Our furniture was impressively broken down, wrapped and put together flawlessly. The truck was organized in a way that made the unloading much quicker.

I can't say enough good things. I would highly recommend Pure Moving company.

Bill and his team did an excellent job with our big move yesterday. As one other reviewer noted, moving can really be a drag. They were upbeat and easy going through it all. And their pricing was fair and transparent. Bill made the whole process a lot better than expected. He is genuine good guy. We moved last year using a different company and it was both more difficult and more expensive. We'll definitely use Pure again next time we need to move. But hopefully we stay put for a while this time.!

They were very communicative, arrived on time, wrapped all our large furniture very carefully and everything arrived without a scratch.

Also, as an example of how professional these guys are there was a large box with bright red print that said 'Fucking Machine : Power Banger' and it was packed without a so much as a smirk or chortle.
