Ambience is super nice. It's on 13th floor and offers beautiful views of downtown SF. Food is nice. The staff are so cordial. Certainly a heaven to have a nice relaxed evening either solo or with friends or romantic interest. 10/10. Must visit.

Rise Over Run is a rooftop bar inside the Line Hotel. It is a fairly new and super modern clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and the ambience is super cozy. There is a solarium and also outdoor seating. You get different views of Downtown SF. There are lots of plants used for decoration. This is located in the Tenderloin. There's a security guard outside the hotel to help check you in or answer any questions you may have.

The drinks were definitely unique and the duck bao is a 10/10. I'm giving this place a five stars because of the great service we received and the aesthetic of the place.

Food was fresh and clean and presentable.
Service for our food was actually slow but the appetizer (edamame and pork) got to our table on a timely manner.
Superb and luxurious decor/ view of the city.
This area is located close to Tenderloin just get out of your car and walk straight into the hotel...don't look left don't look right the view and experience up top is worth it

How do you recover from a night at a speakeasy?

Easy, rise and run to breakfast. In our case, we had a girls' brunch date. Friend told me she's checking out (of her hotel) and I told her I'm on my way to pick her up in a Waymo. Twenty minutes or so later, she was in the car and we are off to Turk Street in the TL. déjà vu. Weren't we just here last night? Waymo dropped us off around the next block from The LINE because of its law-abiding programming not wanting to double park in front of the building. Because of this, we had to walk around the block trying not to step on poo. Normally we wouldn't mind walking a few steps, but the area is sketch.

Maybe it's too early for me, but this place is referencing too much Math and formulas. The LINE; Rise Over Run. X-axis and Y-axis, blah, blah, blah. I'm not good at math, but I can read signs. A doorman/security told us that Rise Over Run is not open. What?!? I swear I confirmed my reservations. Well, that's disappointing. Then he said, "Oh wait. They are open for brunch. Come in. 13th floor."

We got up to the top floor, I looked it up, 13 is the six prime number. In number theory, it's considered to be a happy number. Oh good. We are here to be happy. We approached a beautiful Solarium with a striking bar setup. The staff checking us in took one look at my friend and said, "Weren't you JUST here?" My friend and I have never been here, but see what I meant by déjà vu?

I booked us a table inside the Solarium, but it looks so nice outside that we requested to seat there if they have room and they did, so we happily sat outside enjoying the view.

For brunch, we ordered coffee and OJ for her and a latte for me. For food, we shared the Cheeseburgers with fries and the (Korean) Fried Chicken with the add-on of Southern Biscuits. The fried chicken came in this cute cut-out bird cage. Very insta-worthy presentation. The cheeseburger was quite substantial and delicious. Fries were good. The fried chicken was not bad. A few pieces felt a little dry. The southern biscuits are small, soft, and okay. Food is more like 3.5-4 stars depending on what you get.

We had a great time catching up here. Not much people that day so had a lot of privacy to ourselves and the service was very friendly. This felt more like a nice spot to enjoy brunch or happy hour. Because the setup and atmosphere was so lovely, we took quite a lot of photos, too.

We left happy and took a Uber (it picked us up in the front of the building without us walking around the block) back to the car garage near her hotel to pick up her car. I went home from there. Until next time.

      Cute rooftop spot for HH!

There's an indoor area with glass walls to help keep you warm when the SF winds kick in while still giving the rooftop ambiance.

Cocktails were just ok but the HH prices are even better. (~12 for cocktails and beers were cheaper I believe!) There is also some HH food on the menu but I did not get the chance to try it out as my group came strictly for drinks.

This is a good rooftop spot but parking can definitely be tricky! It's located at the top of a hotel so you need to take elevator all the way to the top floor.

Great ambiance, service and cocktails. Neighborhood is sketchy, but they can't help that

We've been here before and it was very busy. Food and drinks took a while to get, which was expected with how many people were there. The food and rinks were good so we decided to my go back on Saturday night.
I'd say it was about 1/3 full, we were seated quickly and ordered within a couple minutes. It's was just my wife and I and we ordered 2 drinks and two apps. It took nearly an hour to get our food and drinks. Everything was decent, but that is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a couple easy drinks and easy apps. We will not be going back there.

      Overall: 3.5, maybe 4 stars
      Food: 3 stars
      Service: 5 stars
      Ambiance: 4 stars

Perfect for brunch on a gorgeous Sunday morning. Seems bigger than Charmaine's because it has almost hidden corners and a wraparound terrace -- although you only get a good view if you sit by the fire pits.

Friendly service both at the rooftop and downstairs in The Line hotel.

But the Ube French Toast tasted like stale rye bread. The Veggie Hash also wasn't great.

The LINE hotel is back with its solarium style restaurant! (Most famous one is probably the LA one).

I love it on a sunny day and the food is actually quite good - not one of those brunch places good for the gram but mid food.

Must order the fried chicken - very tender, not overly fried. Ube toast also a classic and I actually think they make their toast a bit mochi like so very chewy and not too sweet.

Came for brunch on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy but we made a reservation just in case. Great ambience outside and inside. Definitely recommend sitting outside if it's a good day out.

We ordered the fried chicken, chilaquiles and ube French toast. For drinks, we ordered coffee (with refills) and matcha latte. Our favorite was the fried chicken, followed by the ube French toast. Chicken was so crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside and good portions!

Service was okay. The waitress who sat and checked up on us was great but the waiter who took our order had an attitude when we asked if we could get half and half with our coffee.

Parking is difficult since it's right next to market and would rec taking public transport or uber
