Great experience for our 10 year old in a trail ride. Attentive staff and great horses

My grand daughter loved her riide and wll be back for more.

We had a great time horseback riding. My 7 year old gives you a 5 out of 5 stars.. my daughter loved it.

A couple of friends and I booked a canoe and kayak for a day on the river through Riverside stables. Initially everything was fine, the owner seemed nice and his wife was nice as well although a bit over the top. The owner dropped us off at a public boat ramp quite a ways away from the stables. We started on the river, Had a great time, made a couple of stops on sand bars along the river side. About halfway through we realized that we were running a bit behind, Considering we rented the canoe and kayak for four hours, So we began to hightail it down the river and I fell a bit behind in the kayak ( 8 miles it is a long intense kayaking experience especially for my first time) so my friends arrived about 10 minutes before I did at the pick up point. Altogether we were about 45 minutes late. When the owner of Riverside Stables arrived to pick us up in his pick up truck he seemed really irritated that we were a bit late and jumped out of his truck and immediately said to me "you got $30 extra dollars right!" ( not really asking) he then proceeded to curse at me and Point his finger in my face in an intimidating manner. Then he pointed at me and said you're walking back ( The trip back to the stables was about a mile. As he drove away, poking his head out of his truck window he called me a dirt bag. It takes a lot to get me excited but this really irritated me. This is no way to conduct business. I can't believe this man runs a business acting this way! No one deserves to be treated this way! I will not be returning to Riverside Stables!
