The absolute nicest bartenders I've ever met! We had so much fun stopping by the Dearborn for our anniversary. Can't wait to go back!

A popular restaurant serving authentic traditional American food. I went there mainly because of their truffle mushroom grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. What I got was indeed very good and tasted different from usual grilled cheese. The jus was full of umami, great for dipping the sandwich. For side I got a bowl of salad, which was not bad either. However, I was a bit disappointing as they put the sauce (which I opted out) but did not put the cheese. So what I got was actually not a grilled cheese sandwich lol. Even worse, the server did not apologize for this.

My friend got fish and chips. He was satisfied with it. As I know most people would not opt out sauce, I still give 4 stars for it. But indeed the service could be better.

Great food with a fun setting but I don't recommend the "spring Caesar salad". Everything else is good.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Art Institute. If you like a super greasy burger, then this is your place. Fries were fresh and not too salty. Bartender was friendly and mostly attentive.

The manager came to our table to make sure everything was fine; he did this to every table. I was impressed and appreciated the care he took. The ceviche stood out. It is a must-have! The roasted vegetables served in a light, spicy honey sauce were also good. The sauce wasn't overpowering; it was a good accent to the crisp vegetables. I had the ribeye medium rare and my daughter had the New York strip served the same way. The meat was juicy and cooked well, however, we both agreed, that the sauce it was cooked in gave it a sweet flavor that was too much.

The ambiance was lively and friendly. We were there on a Sunday for dinner, and we were in close seating to other diners. Everyone was in a good mood, and we felt comfortable and relaxed.

This is a solid dinner choice. Interesting widely-varied menu. Our server was attentive- maybe slightly too much so, but better over service than under service.

The food was all tasty- we ordered WAY too much. Starter of the prosciutto & fried egg thin crust pizza was really flavorful with a balsamic glaze. The entrees included the fairly standard for burger fare- The Dearborn Burger with fries. The Midwest Chicken was a smidge salty- but it's a good size entree even though it is listed under "starters." The crispy Brussels sprouts were tasty- tender yet crispy enough.

The vibe is relaxed- it has a pub feel and the menu also feels pub-ish. Great selection of beers and wine- plenty of tasty choices to go with your meal.

Service was friendly and helpful- and patient as our party expanded in size. Even a vegan was happy at this meat heavy place, we loved everything. Drinks were delicious. Heads up, no substituting on the fancy premixed cocktails.

We had lunch there. I would recommend making reservations but we did not need them. We just ordered burgers and fries with drinks and it was great. All the food looked amazing next time I come back to Chicago, I will definitely come back and try something different as well. Atmosphere was very nice. Great for dates nights or lunch with friends.

The food is very tasty! The location can't be beat. Service was slow and portions are on the smaller side. Also, they don't accommodate food allergies very well.

The Dearborn for dinner? Yes please! Here we have the truffle fries with the house made ranch that was very delicious next is the burger , Midwest fried chicken , and a baby kale and wild mushroom pizza ! The setting was nice and the food was pretty good! The service was very accommodating and attentive!
