Great lunch spot a short walk from the space needle and the Chihuly glass museum.

The Dutch Babies are worth trying. We shared a savory one and a bowl of Vichyssoise soup. Tasty and great service from everyone.

Tilikum Place Cafe doesn't really take walk-ins for brunch on the weekend (unless you're lucky that someone cancelled their reservation). It probably took me two months to finally get a Sunday brunch reservation here, but it's worth it. There aren't a lot of places in Seattle that make Dutch babies, which are the signature brunch item here.

We got both the savory and sweet Dutch babies. The savory came with brie, bacon, figs, and onions, which gave it a rich flavor profile. The sweet Dutch baby came with blueberry and ricotta. It tasted more like dessert than breakfast, but it was delicious and didn't feel too heavy. We also got their iced latte which was pretty good as well.

Aside from the Dutch babies, a few other tables around us also got the egg benedict, which looked very good as well - would definitely come back and try it!

Cozy place within walking distance of the Space Needle with very personable staff.

      Food:
      Mushroom soup: needed salt

Savory Dutch baby: not anything like those crusty, climb to the sky babies that I like. This was more like a pot pie knee deep in Brie.

Eggs Benedict: good vision with poor execution. The cornbread was delicious but it needed more pork and the hollandaise flavor was marginal...just a few more tweaks and this would be a standout dish.

      Sorry, not coming back

This is a really good French brunch place with an incredibly friendly staff. While it can be pretty difficult to get a reservation here, we managed to snag one on a Thursday afternoon.

We started with the French onion soup, which was comforting and flavorful. For our mains, we had the baked eggs and the savory Dutch baby. The baked eggs were my favorite--surprisingly, the green beans in the dish paired excellently with the whole dish, creating a unique and satisfying flavor combination.

I was especially excited to try the savory Dutch baby, as it's the dish they're most known for. However, I found it to be just okay--not bad, but not quite as impressive as I had hoped.

All in all, it's a great restaurant that's definitely worth giving a try! Despite the slight letdown with the Dutch baby, the overall experience was wonderful, and I'd gladly return.

The reviews are no lie! We had an amazing brunch at Tilikum. It was super close to our hotel in Belltown and an easy 3 minute walk. The staff was so friendly and attentive. It's a small, cozy place with very limited seating and the only seat walkups if there is a cancelation, so definitely make a reservation if you can.

The sweet and savory Dutch babies are a must, and are sizeable enough to share so you can get a taste of both. Their curry ketchup is delicious on anything you can add it to, and the house made sausage had a great herby flavor to it. We had our brunch in a cozy little nook and enjoyed people watching while we ate. Definitely on my must visit again list when I come back to Seattle!

The savory Dutch baby is delicious with syrup or the curry ketch up.
I've never had more perfect over easy eggs, and the breakfast meats were great.

Came here for weekend brunch and had a lovely time! We ordered the Savory Dutch Baby with Bacon, mission figs, red onion, Brie, and chives and the Sweet Dutch Baby with Blueberry, lemon, and ricotta. It was a good amount for the two of us and made for a filling lunch. I liked being able to try both savory and sweet items from their menu, the Dutch Babies are definitely worth trying and super yummy. We were told we'd have to wait 30 minutes for the kitchen to make them, so beware if you're tight on time. We didn't mind the wait and the Dutch Babies came out piping hot which I prefer over cold food anyway.

The servers checked in on us frequently and were very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend making a reservation if you don't want to wait, as this place fills up quickly especially on the weekends. Can't wait to come back!

Came in here for Sunday Brunch as a walk in. We were very fortunate that someone was a no show and the hostess was super nice to get us a table. So don't forget to grab a reservation!

Parking can be difficult in the area. We were able to find street parking and it was a short walk to the restaurant. There were also a few homeless people sleeping on benches near the common areas outside of the restaurant.

The decor inside was gorgeous. It has this classic beautiful ambience that's very welcoming.

Our waiter was super friendly and nice.

The food was delicious. It took a while for it too get to our table but the quality was there. The French press coffee was delicious. The French Onion soup was gooey with cheese and had a great savory base. My eggs were soft with a hint of curry and veggies.

Overall, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend getting a reservation on open table to avoid a wait.

This is the spot for homey high quality food. We were looking for brunch at 9:30 am on a Sunday morning that didn't have a Ludi-style line out the door and stumbled upon Tilikum Place! They happened to have an open table due to a party cancellation and seated us quickly with drinks.

I can't say enough good things about the service - the kindest waitress was so welcoming and offered guided us on the menu and portion sizes. We ended up getting the Savory pancetta gruyere and spinach Dutch baby, the Sweet blueberry lemon and ricotta Dutch baby, and the Quiche which had mushrooms, onion, spinach, and a touch of feta served with a side salad (not pictured).

While the Dutch babies didn't come out immediately (they were a little busy), they were worth the wait. Eggy doughy sweetness served in a hot cast iron dish - perfect for sharing between our party of 3!

Would definitely come here again (and might make a reservation just in case)!

We were served by the owner herself and she was the most genuine person you will ever meet. She is easily the heart of this business as everything ran so smoothly and our Dutch babies were amazing.

We got all three Dutch babies to try. All three were filled with fresh ingredients.
Classic: 4.5/5, just the right amount of sweetness
      Sweet: 4/5
Savory: 5/5, best of the bunch

I only wish their hours were more available to the public as this is something everyone needs to try.

Food was absolutely delicious! Reservations are a bit hard to get so plan for the well in advance for brunch!

Service was welcoming and friendly. It's a cozy little cafe with tables and bar seating.

      Food:

      + chicken soup cup
      + savory dutch baby
      + sweet dutch baby
+ fry up with sausage, bacon, beans
      + fresh squeezed orange juice

Everything was flavorful and excellently done! I would 100% come back again for their tasty dutch babies and other items!

very cozy and rustic vibe! the service was really friendly and attentive!

we ordered the fry up, eggs benedict, their breakfast, and the savory Dutch baby to share!

The best was the eggs benedict as it was on a Mac and cheese cake with super soft and tender beef brisket! Highly recommend if you get the chance to try it since their menu changes!

The fry up had WAYY too many beans... the ratio of beans to bread to meats seemed a little off...

The eggs in the breakfast were cooked well! And the savory dutch baby was super delicious but took over ~50 min to come out? It came out 30 minutes after we received all the other dishes and we felt bad continuing to ask about it.

Overall, super delicious and special food and friendly service, but the ratio of some dishes and the time required to cook the Dutch baby with no heads up or updates!
