Richard’s 3-star review:
As its namesake suggests, GREAT VIEWS OF THE SOUND!
This place is a welcome sight if your wandering around Pike Market and tired of fighting the crowds. Its tucked down in I think the Mezzanine level so its not chock full o' the touristas like on the main floors. The food features pretty standard stuff: sandwiches, crab cakes, salmon etc. To be honest, nothing too memorable as I got the seafood plate which featured grilled salmon, crab cake some lemon pepper shrimp, sauteed vegetables and some bread. Clocking in at $18, this was the priciest thing on the menu. The service was very good and you really can't beat the views which could argueably give this place another 1/2 star or so. Nice shot of the sound and West Seattle over yonder. I was flying solo and they have nice corner table where you can hide and bang away on your laptop suspended over western ave. Will probably be back when I need a place to chill out from the crowds up in the market!
