I liked the food and the ambiance was romantic. We didn't get bread service unfortunately but the food seemed authentically italian.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Seattle. The entire place is one of wonder and excitement. And the food, oh so delicious! We started with their antipasto, and then an off menu seafood pasta. OMG! SO GOOD! Our waiter, Eric, was fantastic! We were in Seattle to celebrate my sissy's birthday on Tuesday low-key, but Eric made sure we were well taken care of. Our first time on the patio and loved it!

This restaurant was my second favorite restaurant during my trip to Seattle this summer. We were given a table by the window with a great view.

We came in for a lunch reservation and decided to order two of the specials. One was an appetizer special and another was a salmon entree special. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The best we had during our stay.

Our server was a great gentleman, very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed my overall experience from checking in for the reservation till we left. Would definitely come back here for the live entertainment!

Fantastic meal! We didn't have high hopes since much of the food we sampled in Seattle fell short of expectations. However, this restaurant exceeded them!

      Must try:

Mussels and clams: The sauce was so delectable I ended up sipping it with a spoon! The mussels were tender and the clams were exceptionally fresh.

Pappardelle pasta: This is my favorite type of pasta, and it was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the ragu was full of flavor.

Lasagna: Quite tasty, though a bit on the small and thin side. It lacked the layers you might expect and seemed more like a side dish portion.

Reservations should be made well in advance. Aim to book about a month ahead if you're looking for a prime time slot.

I had the lemon risotto with prawns and it was so delicious! The ambiance is also great - went on a Wednesday and there was live jazz, and where we were seated in the back had views of the water.

Tip: make a reservation ahead of time.

Great food! We didn't have high expectations because a lot of the food we tried in Seattle just didn't meet our expectations. But this restaurant was great!

      Must try:
Mussels and clams: the sauce that it was in was soo good I was just drinking it with a spoon haha mussels were juicy and clams were fresh

Pappardelle pasta: my favorite pasta, it was so good. Pasta is cooked to perfect and the ragu was delicious

Lasagna: it was very good but a bit small and thin? It didn't seem to have too many layers and felt more like a side dish portion size.

Reservations are definitely booked in advance. I would try to book a month ahead if you're trying to get prime time reservation.

      1 check-in

Make your reservations on Opentable ASAP to save yourself the wait in line!

I was late to the game and wasn't able to. I called a few times and was told a) they have zero availability for the two dates I wanted, b) their maximum party size is 7, and c) they leave tables open for walk ins. Then I was promptly hung up on mid sentence...all three times! Not sure if it was the same person, but def put a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Well, I am a glutton for punishment and still wanted to try the Pink Door. A coworker and I attempted the walk in line at 5:30pm on a Saturday. SUPER long line that he was ready to ditch upon arrival, but the hostess came after ten minutes and was able to seat us immediately if we sat at the bar. SOLD!

The olive oil with the complimentary bread was awesome! Make sure you take them up on it when they offer.

The cucumber basil vodka gimlet was refreshing and packed quite the vodka punch buzz-wise.

I was set on the lemon risotto with prawns from the get go. Amazing risotto and the prawns were sweet and succulent. I definitely did not need to finish this, but I didn't stop until my plate was clean.

My coworker got the tochino, which looked kind of plain to me but he said it was good and finished his plate too.

We split the tiramisu (huge portion) after seeing the gal next to us order it. We couldn't eat it all, but it was also very good.

No complaints about the service once we actually got in.

They have an acrobatic show that was cool to watch. No photos allowed though and our server was sure to forewarn us ahead of time.

What a beautiful restaurant with amazing food! I'm sure they get a lot of people (like me) who walk through the nondescript pink door with no sign and ask "Is this the Pink Door?" With a vibe like a Parisian speakeasy and amazing Italian food, Pink Door is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.

We had the figs and prosciutto and the antipasto plate for appetizers--the olives were fresh and the meats were so flavorful. My dad ordered the half chicken, which was the most tender chicken we'd ever had so much so you couldn't distinguish the white meat from the dark. My mom loved the meatballs, and the lasagna I ordered was deceptively filling for its small portion. The sangria was white wine based, and very light and refreshing, and there is a selection of mocktails for those that don't do alcohol. Service was quick around 3 pm, and we definitely missed the dinner rush that probably comes as Pike Place closes down. Definitely add this to your Seattle to-try list!

I wish I had taken a better picture of the decor, but even the bar was beautiful!

If you've ever wanted to enter an alternate reality where everything is a vibe, this is the place to go. I've only lived here a few weeks but this was at the top of my list (obviously). I tried to make reservations but they do book out quite far in advance; luckily they accept walk-ins just be prepared to wait if that's you're route and stop by the tasting room across the alley while you do! My friend and I made it in around 30 minutes after we put out name in and had bar seating which was totally perfect for us. They do have lots of indoor seating and a patio as well but I'm not sure what the wait/walk-in situation is for those.

Now onto the important stuff, the food. We started with some wine and bruschetta and honestly it was the best bruschetta of my life. The bartender explained the tomatoes come from a farm on Bainbridge and they were FAT (PHAT, if you will, do we still say that?) and so, so good. I had the lemon risotto and my friend had the bolognese and we were both absolutely thrilled with our food.

Finally, there was an aerial performance which I wasn't allowed to video or photograph but, rest assured, it was mind-blowing. I finally (can I say finally after two weeks?) fully understand the hype of this place and I can't wait to come back. What a unique and gorgeous experience!
