The candidate filing deadline was May 26, 2016. Incumbent Mark Woodward (D) and incumbent Linda Martin (D) did not seek re-election.

Matthew Hill and Daniel Noyes defeated Riki French and Lucien Gravel in the Vermont House of Representatives Lamoille-2 District general election.[1][2]

Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits.
