Pajala (Independent, Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Windham-Windsor-Bennigton District. Pajala (independent) won in the general election on November 8, 2022. She advanced as a write-in from the Democratic primary on August 9, 2022.

Pajala was appointed by Republican Governor Phillip Scott in 2017, following the resignation of Oliver Olsen.[1]
