    Pankaj Rana appointed as CEO of Hisense

    Hisense India has appointed Pankaj Rana as its new CEO, replacing Pranab Mohanty. Rana, a seasoned industry veteran with over two decades of experience, will lead the company's strategic initiatives, drive business growth, and expand the customer base. He will also strengthen the brand presence. Rana has previously worked with companies like LG, Panasonic, Benq, and Reliance Retail.

    Hisense India, a consumer electronics and home appliances company, on Tuesday appointed Pankaj Rana as its chief executive officer, a company release said.

    Rana is a seasoned industry veteran with over two decades in sales and marketing, business development and general management.

    Before joining Hisense India, Rana held pivotal roles in shaping the mobile phones and television business across India, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa with companies like LG, Panasonic, Benq and Reliance Retail.

    “His extensive industry knowledge and leadership acumen will be invaluable as we embark on our journey of expansion and growth in India. With Pankaj at the helm, we are poised to achieve new heights of success,” said Steven Li, managing director of Hisense India.

    As CEO of Hisense India, Rana will be tasked with spearheading the company’s strategic initiatives, driving overall business growth, focusing on expanding the customer base and strengthening brand presence.

    Rana said, “I am excited to work closely with the talented team at Hisense India to drive innovation, foster growth and deliver unparalleled value to our customers.”

    Rana replaces Pranab Mohanty at the helm of the company. Mohanty left the company in January of this year.
