    Delhi has the highest number of CAT aspirants

    Delhi NCR ranks top with the maximum number of registrations followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.

    NEW DELHI: Delhi leads other cities with the maximum number of registrations received till date for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013.


    "Delhi NCR ranks top with the maximum number of registrations received till date followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Ahmedabad," said a statement released by IIM said.

    However, it did not say as to how many applications have been received so far. The registration window which opened on August 5 will end on September 26.

    It also said the testing centres in Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Hyderabad are closest to meeting their full capacity. The Common Admission Test is conducted for entry into IIMs and other B-schools.

    The CAT exam is conducted by Prometric in association IIM.

    The test will be conducted from October 16 to November 11.
