Ali Fazal & Richa Chadha to tie the knot next month: Report

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha's much-awaited wedding is happening next month.

The couple, who reportedly had to push their wedding celebrations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, have finally decided to get married in September-end. While the confirmed date is not known, the couple will have two wedding ceremonies.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the duo have decided to host two celebrations - one in Mumbai and the other in Delhi.

The couple has been in a relationship for a decade. They met on the sets of 'Fukrey' in 2012 and fell in love.

After being together for seven-long years, the 35-year-old popped the question to his lady love in 2019. They initially had plans to tie the knot in March 2020, but the pandemic played spoilsport.

In an interview with Mashable India, the 35-year-old actress a new Covid-variant comes up every time they plan their wedding. She shared that after 2020, the couple again were talking about getting married last year in February, which also was pushed due to the devastating second wave. "Whenever we think of getting married, a new variant comes. In 2020, we had booked places also, but the first wave came, followed by lockdown and destruction. Last year again, in February, we had confidence and talks started. The second wave experience was the worst in India. Quite sad," she was quoted as saying.

The couple made their relationship official at the world premiere of Fazal's Hollywood film 'Victoria and Abdul' in Venice. They were spotted walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet.

The soon-to-be groom was last seen in 'Death On The Nile', starring Gal Gadot and Tom Bateman, which was released in February 2022. Meanwhile, Chadha will be seen reprising her role of Bholi Punjaban in 'Fukrey 3'.
