Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen attending sarod maestro Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan’s concert in Mumbai. The ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ star was accompanied by his wife, superstar Aishwarya Rai, and daughter Aradhya.

This was a live performance by the Ustaad, his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan Bangash, and his 10-year-old grandsons Zohaan and Abeer. Post-concert, the trio posed with the maestro for a candid selfie.

Later, the ‘Guru’ actor took to Instagram to gush about the artist. The actor revealed that he used to be an apprentice under the Ustaad and took lessons along with the Amaan and Ayaan, but couldn’t continue the lessons as he left to attend boarding school. He also lauded the performance and heaped praise on the twins Zohaan and Abeer.
“An absolute joy and honour to witness the mastery, brilliance, culture, and tradition of @aaksarod sahab along with my brothers @amaanalibangash and @ayaanalibangash, but I am happiest to hear young #Zohaan and #Abeer play and continue the legacy of the family. Two more maestros on the way!!!” gushed Bachchan in his post.

Praising the performance of the three generations of sarod players, he wrote, “3 generations on stage together! The future of our music, Indian classical music, is in safe hands."

The post gained more than 7,000 likes.

In the picture, Bachchan and his wife were seen sporting matching outfits. Aishwarya looked ethereal in a deep-blue anarkali suit, while Bachchan looked like royalty in a blue ethnic kurta and white pajamas.

On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in the social comedy film ‘Dasvi’ opposite Yami Gautam. He was also seen in the second season of the hit web series 'Breathe'. He will next be seen in R Balki's 'Ghoomer' opposite Saiyami Kher. He will also star along with Vijay Sethupathi for a project helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
