    Aryan Khan taken to JJ hospital in Mumbai for medical check-up in drugs case

    On Sunday, lawyer Satish Maneshinde had argued that Jr Khan was arrested based on social media buzz and "no drugs were found on his person".
    The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Monday sought further custody of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and other two in drugs case for more 9 days during bail hearing in a local court in Mumbai. The actor's son, who has applied for bail in the matter, was sent to a day's NCB remand by district court on Sunday. A Mumbai court on Monday is currently hearing Jr Khan's bail plea in the drugs case.

    Earlier today, Aryan Khan's mother, Gauri Khan was snapped leaving for court from their Bandra house 'Mannat' for her son's bail hearing. Satish Maneshinde, one of the India's top lawyers who has defended actors such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Rhea Chakraborty in the past, will be representing Aryan Khan in the drugs case.

    In his argue, defence lawyer Maneshinde said "No substance seized from my client (Aryan Khan) which is in contravention of NDPS Act. If any substance is seized from the co-accused that doesn't make any grounds to take my client into custody."

    According to a report in timesofindia.com, Aryan Khan and others were taken to Mumbai's JJ Hospital for medical check-up after which they were brought to the court. The NCB arrested eight accused including Jr Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in the rave party bust from a cruise ship off Mumbai coast on Sunday.


    The three accused where sent to a day's NCB custody and will be produced in front of the court shortly today. The remaining five, who were arrested late on Sunday night, will be produced before the court for remand on Monday.

    When Aryan Khan was produced before a court on Sunday after his arrest, his lawyer Maneshinde had argued that Jr Khan was arrested based on social media buzz and "no drugs were found on his person". He had said that his client was invited for the party and had no ticket, boarding pass or cabin on the cruise ship.

    An NCB team, led by Wankhede, on Saturday raided the cruise ship after they got a tip-off that a rave party was scheduled onboard. The agency seized 13 gm of cocaine, five gm of MD, 21 gm of charas and 22 pills of Ecstasy and Rs 1.33 lakh during the raid.

    There were 1,800 people on the ship and over 20 officials of the NCB were onboard the ship posing as customers. On Monday, the NCB conducted more raids on the cruise ship as it returned to Mumbai.
