Singh, who has performed on stage on many occasions, will host the popular award show for the first time. He will be joined by his friend and actor Arjun Kapoor - who is a ‘filmi encyclopaedia’, according to the '83' star. Fans can expect some unfiltered banter on the Filmfare stage.
During a press conference on Thursday evening, Singh said, "It is the first time I am hosting, I have danced a few times. Performing on stage is very different from hosting. According to me, hosting takes ten times more work, ten times the amount of time."

Singh was joined by Worldwide Media CEO Deepak Lamba, Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillaai, and Manish Chopra, director and head of partnerships for India at Meta.
