Indra Nooyi has kicked off her Thanksgiving celebrations in a delicious manner.

On Tuesday night, the former PepsiCo top boss took to Facebook and treated her followers to some sweet delights. The 66-year-old Nooyi posted a bunch of pictures of her cutting a scrumptious-looking chocolate cake. And the icing on this cake was Nooyi herself! That's correct - the cake sported a replica (edible, we are guessing) of her autobiography, 'My Life In Full', that hit the stands earlier in September.

Captioning the post, the former chairperson and chief executive officer of PepsiCo wrote that she was "lucky enough to celebrate #MyLifeinFull with a few sweet treats alongside many of the people who have been a part of this journey."

Last week, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, she had also started a book giveaway, urging her followers to tag a friend or family member and express their gratitude.

Nooyi's writing debut has earned her high praise. Earlier this month Melinda Gates called it a "definite must-read".

But she also set certain corners of the Internet buzzing with comments following an interview with the New York Times Magazine in October. In a Q&A, she said that she had "never, ever, ever asked for a raise" and had in fact even turned one down during the financial crisis. When asked why, Nooyi, who has topped the Most Powerful Women in business list quite often, went on to say: “I find it cringeworthy. I cannot imagine working for somebody and saying my pay is not enough.”
