    'Mirzapur' co-stars bid farewell to Bramha Mishra; Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal mourn actor's death

    The untimely death of actor Bramha Mishra has left the entire nation shocked.

    According to Mumbai Police, Mishra, best known for portraying Lalit in the popular series 'Mirzapur' on Amazon Prime Video, was found dead at his residence on Thursday. The Times of India report confirmed that the actor died of a heart attack.

    Co-stars and celebrities from the film fraternity took to social media to mourn the actor's death.

    Mishra's co-star from 'Mirzapur', Divyenndu confirmed the news on Instagram. He posted a throwback picture of himself with Mishra with a heartfelt message. "Let's pray for him everyone," he wrote.

    Mishra's other co-stars from the Prime Video series - Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Shriya Pilgaonkar - paid their condolences in the comments section.

    In an IG Story, Pilgaonkar - who played the role of Sweety in the popular series - said that the 'Mirzapur' family lost a special member. "So many memories with Bramha. This is terribly sad," she wrote.

    'Fukrey' actor and Mishra's co-star Ali Fazal dedicated a post to the late actor, and said he was heartbroken.


    'Mirzapur' creator Gurmmeet Singh said that Mishra always brought 'a smile to a million faces', and he will be missed.


    Actor Rajkummar Rao posted an Instagram Story. "Rest in peace brother. Gone too soon," he wrote.

    Reacting to the news, actor Vijay Varma wrote 'No' in his IG Story with a broken heart emoji.

    'Paatal Lok' star Abhishek Banerjee said he hopes Mishra is in a better place, alongside his picture.


    Mishra's last post was six days before his sudden demise. He has posted a selfie without a image caption.


    In addition to 'Mirzapur', Brahma Mishra has also been a part of projects like 'Dangal', 'Kesari', 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man', 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Hawaizaada' and 'Hello Charlie'.
