Munawar Faruqui now dad to a 10-yr-old. ‘Bigg Boss’ winner poses with 2nd wife Mehzabeen Coatwala

‘Bigg Boss 17’ winner Munawar Faruqui recently posed for pictures with his alleged second wife Mehzabeen Coatwala In the photos, the couple looked very cheerful and smiling.

In the photos shared by paparazzo photographer Varinder Chawla, Faruqui and Coatwala are seen cutting the cake. “First picture of #MunawarFaruqui & second wife #MehzabeenCoatwala cutting cake after their wedding goes viral!” While the ‘Lock Upp’ winner looked chic in a crisp white shirt, Coatwala appeared radiant in a purple salwar kameez.

However, none of the couple has confirmed rumours of their nikah.

The stand-up comedian has also become a father to a 10-year-old after his marriage! An X handle called ‘Bigg Boss Tak’ revealed that Coatwala is a divorcee and has a daughter. With this marriage, Faruqui would become her step-father.

How Did The Pair Meet?

In an interview with Times Now, an anonymous source close to the comedian revealed that he was introduced to Coatwala by ‘Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ star Hina Khan. “Hina Khan introduced Munawar to Mehzabeen. Two months ago, at an event, Khan assigned duty of fixing Faruqui's makeup to Coatwala. And the rest, they say, is history.

According to a Times Now report, Faruqui and Coatwala tied the knot on May 26, in a lowkey nikkah ceremony. A source told Times Now, “Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh, sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega aapko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two).”

Coatwala is a makeup artist by profession. She hails from the Memon community.

Munawar was formerly married to a woman Jasmine, with whom he shares a six-year-old son named Mikael, who celebrates his birthday today (May 29). The pair got married in 2017 and parted ways in 2022.

He first opened up about his family during an appearance on Kangana Ranaut's show, ‘Lock Upp’. “I have been with someone for the past two years. I was in a marriage in 2017 and in 2020 we got separated. Last year our divorce was finalised. Amid all this, the best thing about my life is my son. He is 5 years old and stays with me,” he revealed.
