    Chinese tech giant OnePlus has launched its highly anticipated flagship, the OnePlus 12 5G, in its home country. Packed with cutting-edge features, the smartphone introduces Qualcomm's Snapdragon Gen 3 chipset, a stunning 2K AMOLED LTPO screen, and a robust 5,400mAh battery supporting rapid 100W charging.

    Available for pre-order in China, the smartphone offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Users can choose from Leave blank (white), green, and Iwaguro (black) color options. While a global release is confirmed for early 2024, pricing details for the Indian market are yet to be disclosed.

    Impressive Display & Powerful Performance

    The OnePlus 12 boasts of a 6.82-inch 2K Super Fluid AMOLED display with LTPO technology, achieving a peak brightness of 4500nits. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and HDR Vivid, with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Accredited with an A+ certification from DisplayMate, the screen promises excellent colour accuracy.

    Under the hood, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform fuels the device, delivering a 30 per cent improvement in CPU speed and a 25 per cent boost in GPU speed, all while enhancing power efficiency. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, featuring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 ROM.

    Upgraded Photography & Cooling System

    The OnePlus 12 impresses on the camera front, featuring a triple setup on the rear: a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

    Selfies and video calls are handled by a 32MP front-facing shooter, equipped with the latest self-developed HDR algorithm.

    Addressing heat concerns during extended usage, OnePlus claims the OnePlus 12 hosts the most extensive cooling system in any OnePlus device.

    Pricing & Availability Details

    Starting at 4,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 50,700) for the base variant, the OnePlus 12 is set to hit the global market in early 2024. The company offers the device in Pale Green, Rock Black, and White color options. The phone is expected to debut in India in January 2024, with pricing details for the global market still under wraps.
