    'The Indrani Mukerjea Story': Netflix documentary on the Sheena Bora case to be aired next month

    Netflix is set to release the highly-anticipated documentary, 'The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth,' on February 23. The docu-series explores the Sheena Bora disappearance case and the subsequent arrest of Indrani Mukerjea and her husband, Peter Mukerjea, in 2015. Directed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl and produced by Terry Leonard, the series features interviews with Indrani Mukerjea, her children, journalists, and lawyers.

    Netflix is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated documentary, "The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth," on February 23. Collaborating with MakeMake, the streaming giant promises an in-depth exploration of the notorious Sheena Bora murder case and the subsequent arrest of Indrani Mukerjea along with her husband, media tycoon Peter Mukerjea, in 2015.

    Directed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, produced by Terry Leonard, and featuring interviews with Indrani Mukerjea, her children as well as insights from journalists and lawyers, the docu-series aims to unravel the complex dynamics within the Mukerjea family and the motivations behind the shocking murder.

    The release date announcement comes after months of anticipation and follows Indrani Mukerjea's 2023 memoir, "Unbroken: The Untold Story." The documentary promises unprecedented access and fresh revelations surrounding the aftermath of Sheena Bora's disappearance at the age of 25.

    Indrani Mukerjea's autobiography, "Unbroken," laid bare the details of her life journey, recounting her formative years in Guwahati, experiences in 1980s Calcutta, rise to prominence in Mumbai's media landscape, and the 2,460 days spent as a prisoner with number 1468 in Byculla jail.
