J-K: Night curfew imposed to prevent cross-border infiltration in foggy conditions along IB in Samba
Samba (J&K): A night curfew was imposed along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba on January 09. The movement of civilians has been banned from 9 pm to 6 am within a radius of 1-km along the International Border. It was imposed to prevent cross-border infiltration in extreme foggy weather conditions prevailing along the Indo-Pak borderline. The decision was taken after the meeting of the District Level Standing Committee on International Border Security.
