Tamil Nadu rains: Incessant downpour leaves several parts of state inundated

Heavy rains continue to lash Tamil Nadu state along with Puducherry, where many areas have been flooded. As far as Chennai is concerned, moderate rain has been predicted as per the forecast. The southern district of Tamil Nadu is expected to witness rain in the next 24-48 hours. The interior roads are inundated and waterlogged, and people are finding it extremely difficult. A fresh downpour alert has been surfaced, and suburbs soak in sewage.
