France’s National Football Team is in distress as two more players, Raphael Varane and Ibrahim Konate have fallen sick. They are suffering from flu-like symptoms just a day ahead of the final match against Argentina. Earlier, Adrien Rabot and Dayot Upamenco had also fallen ill before the semi-final match with Atlas Lions, the Morocco National Football team and couldn’t play the match.

Another player, Kingsley Coman also could not play in the semi-final as he was declared unfit for playing on the day. Didier Deschamps, the French professional Football Manager showed concern and said that he is working to ensure now that the flu virus does not spread further through the team. The players are taking necessary precautions for it.

Deschamps had said after winning against Morocco that the team is taking all the measures to keep healthy and steady until the final match. In order to prevent the virus from infecting and spreading to the other players, Deschamps insulated Upamenco from Rabiot and the other players. He further said that the immune system of the players becomes more prone to be infected by such viruses after having gone through strenuous physical effort as playing football.
