Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour bodyguard arrives in Israel to fight in Hamas War, State of Israel confirms

Taylor Swift’s bodyguard, who was with her during The Era’s Tour, has landed in Israel to fight in the Hamas war, the State of Israel has confirmed. Taking to Instagram, State of Israel shared the image of the individual on Instagram with caption, “Taylor Swift’s #ErasTour bodyguard returned home to fight for his country. We love your Eran [Israeli flag, heart emoji].”


As per reports, Taylor Swift’s bodyguard is expected to have joined the Israel Defense Forces’ reserves, the national military of the State of Israel to fight for the country against Hamas. The war escalated following the October 7 attack by Hamas which resulted in over 1,400 casualties and kidnappings.


Taylor Swift's bodyguard's name has not been revealed, and told Israeli journalist Eram Swisa that he has a “pretty great life” in the United States referring to his “dream job”and “great friends”. He told the journalist that he “didn’t have to” come to Israel but he could not bear to be on the sidelines.



The same guard had caused a stir on the internet earlier for his skills in protecting the pop star throughout the massive Era’s Tour. He declared that he was fighting for “humanity”.


US President Joe Biden on Thursday pleaded with Americans to stand behind Israel, as well as Ukraine, and make progress in military and economic aid to both nations at war.


“History has taught us that when terrorists don’t pay a price for their terror, when dictators don’t pay a price for their aggression, they cause more chaos and death and more destruction,” Biden said in a rare nighttime address. “They keep going. And the cost and the threats to America and the world keep rising.”
