It has been reported by the New York Post that the president has been continuously expressing his anger and taking it out on his aides. Biden’s anger:

According to many of the White House staff members, there are certain topics which cannot be discussed with Biden without attracting his wrath. This has put some advisors in a tight spot. They are unable to advise in a free and unbiased manner. It has also been reported that many of the people are scared of the president and hence are walking through a minefield before advising him on critical matters.

Biden also takes the advice of only a few people he fully trusts. They are senior adviser Anita Dunn, former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, Mike Donilon, Steve Ricchetti and Bruce Reed.

    White House clarification:

The White House rejected news reports that Biden was expressing his anger and taking it out on his aides. Many members took to X and clarified that the president was receptive to different ideas. They said that they often gave him a comprehensive report consisting of even some ideas he may not agree with but he gave them a patient heading.

White House staff not briefed after the debate:

Axios also reported that many of the White House staff were not briefed by the senior advisors after the first presidential debate. They added that the senior advisors were not forthcoming on many issues and did not feel the need to brief the team of the developments. This left many of them feeling anxious and worried about the electoral prospects of Biden.
