Get On My Level, Canada's biggest gaming event for the popular game series Super Smash Bros., has returned in 2022 as an in-person tournament. The mega gaming event had its previous editions in 2020 and 2021, but they were held online due to the Covid-19 scare. As the tournament is going for an in-person version this year, excitement and anticipation will surely go on a high trajectory.

The tournament, Get On My Level 2022, will comprise both the categories - singles and doubles - and will be organised at Toronto's Sheraton Centre Hotel. It will take place from July 1 to July 3. The event will also bring some big players, such as Masaya "aMSa" Chikamoto and Zain "Zain" Naghmi, to the stage.

As per official announcements, Super Smash Bros. Melee of Gamecube and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate of Switch are the two event categories that have been confirmed as of now. More categories can also be included in the coming days, but there is no official indication in this regard yet.

The prize pool for the tournament has not been announced yet. However, if previous data is anything to go by then, the winning amount will undoubtedly be a biggie. In the earlier editions of the game, winners of the tournaments had bagged around $10,000.

Besides, there is more in the bucket for the gamers. A special Platinum-level Smash World Tour is also in the pipeline to be held. And gamers, who will be able to secure a spot in it, will get a chance to play in the Smash World Tour Championship, with a prize pool of CAD 300,000. This championship is expected to take place by the end of the year.

Gamers interested in participating in it should sign up for the championship sooner to avoid missing the opportunity.
