Days after a kid was attacked by a pet dog inside an elevator, another dog attack incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad.

In the latest incident, an 11-year-old was attacked by a pit bull. Following the attack, the kid reportedly needed over 150 stitches on his face.

The whole incident was captured on a CCTV camera. In the video, a girl is seen walking the pit bull in a park. Suddenly, it attacked a kid, who has been identified as Pushp Tyagi.

The owner of the dog tried to control it and then a man also came to the rescue of the kid but not before the dog took a big chunk of Tyagi's face.

Pushp was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he reportedly got over 150 stitches on his face. His condition is now said to be stable.

“My son was playing in the park when the belt of the dog slipped from the hands of the girl, who had come with the animal to the park. The pitbull then attacked my son disfiguring his face. He has received 150 stitches. Pitbull is a dangerous dog and earlier also, the animal attacking people have come to the fore. Our children are not safe,” the victim’s father Sachin Tyagi was quoted as saying.

Reportedly the dog owner did not have a license or registration for the dog. The owner has now been fined Rs 5,000.

Incidents of dog-biting cases have been rising, especially in the Delhi NCR region.

Earlier this week news of another dog bite incident from Ghaziabad went viral on social networks. In that incident, the pet dog, who was on a leash, bit the kid. The owner - an old lady - remained unperturbed, even as the boy cried in agony. Later, the boy's father confronted the lady while walking the dog.
