    Delhi Excise Policy Case: ED seeks 10-day custody of Manish Sisodia

    ​​​The ED made the arrest after grilling Manish Sisodia for 8 hours inside the Tihar jail as part of its money laundering probe into the alleged irregularities in the 2021-22 excise policy of Delhi, officials said. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 27 in the same case and is currently in judicial custody till March 20.

    Enforcement Directorate to seek for 10-day custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi excise policy case. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday, a day before the hearing of his bail plea on money laundering charges in connection with its probe into the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

    Rouse Avenue District Courts will hear his bail plea today. The ED on Thursday questioned the former Delhi Deputy CM in connection with alleged kickbacks of Rs 100 crore which the AAP and its leaders reportedly received from hawala channel.
