Election Guide 2019: If female voter gets married?

If a woman is a voter for the first time after marriage then she will have to fill in Form-6 for enrollment as a new voter. In case the woman is already a voter but not in the same Assembly constituency then she will need to fill in Form-6 for a change of residence. If the wife is a voter in the same Assembly constituency as the husband but needs only to change her address then, she needs to fill in Form-8A for a change of residence within the same Assembly constituency.
