The tough task of restoring the credibility of NEET

It has been eleven years since the government started conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to undergraduate medical courses. You would think that is enough time to fix teething issues and make the process of appearing for these exams a breeze. But the 2024 edition, in which about 24 lakh students participated, has turned out to be a mess. Students pay the highest degree of attention to NEET because there is
