Synopsis

The World Health Organization has lifted the emergency status of the pandemic. With most of the world dropping guard against the virus, it was a symbolic decision. But, as WHO indicated, experts have cautioned that the threat remains. Therefore, the muted phase of the virus should be utilised to build strong guard rails to avoid another virulent outbreak.
