Last week Indian aerospace startup Agnikul Cosmos tested its rocket – Agnibaan – successfully. More than a year and half back, in November of 2022, Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched the Vikram-S rocket. That was the first launch from a private space startup in India. India’s set of New Space companies – a wave of startups christened that way since they signal a new era in space exploration led by private capital – are clearly making a mark
