Synopsis

Ola Electric has decided not to term its offer to replace the front fork arm of its S1 Pro scooter a recall and make the replacement mandatory to all scooters sold thus far. This raises several questions.

It is official. After months of facing complaints on social media, Ola Electric, just a couple of days ago, announced on Twitter that it will replace the front fork arm of its S1 Pro scooter for free. But interestingly, Ola didn’t refer to the exercise as a recall. Nowhere has the company acknowledged that there may have been a safety issue with the front fork arm casting that may have resulted in a number of instances of breakage of the front
