    Army, police pay tributes to 5 soldiers killed in Rajouri encounter

    Security forces honored five personnel killed in a Jammu and Kashmir encounter. A 36-hour gunfight in Darmsal led to the demise of two terrorists, including an LeT commander, and five soldiers, among them two captains. A solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Army General Hospital Rajouri paid tribute to the martyrs: Captains Pranjal and Gupta, Havaldar Majid, Lance Naik Bisht, and Paratrooper Laur, survived by their grieving families. The fallen soldiers' remains are being sent home for final rites.
