    Armenian NSA meets Ajit Doval to strengthen strategic ties

    India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, met with his Armenian counterpart, Armen Grigoryan, to discuss strategic partnership and cooperation in the space sector. They also discussed the ongoing conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Caucasus region. India's supply of arms to Armenia through Iran has caused concern for Azerbaijan. The Armenian government stated that they discussed joint programs in the space industry and regional security developments, emphasizing the importance of international involvement in resolving the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.

    India supplies arms to Armenia via Iran corridor

    Earlier this year India-Iran-Armenia formed a trilateral to explore the transport corridor. During a meeting in Yerevan in April, the three sides discussed economic projects and regional communication channels, outlined the prospects of deepening cultural and people-to-people contacts as well as trilateral cooperation in various fields.

    India sends arms to Armenia via Iran

    Azerbaijan, which has been in a conflict situation with Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, has cried foul and raised the matter with the Indian envoy. Head of the department of foreign policy affairs of Azerbaijan Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, raised the matter during a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, S Madhusudhanan.

    Azerbaijan says two Armenian warplanes crashed, dismisses downing allegation

    Turkey and Azerbaijan have denied the plane was shot down. "Both planes crashed into a mountain and exploded and were destroyed. This shows the Armenian military leadership is not providing accurate information to its citizens and the public," presidential aide Hikmat Hajiyev said.
